Today’s super healthy recipe is this great refreshing smoothie that is also nourishing thanks to the added oils! It is super alkaline because it doesn’t contain much fruit, but feel free to add some berries if you want. You may want to blend this up in steps and add more water if needed. Nourishing Alkaline Green Smoothie
6 inch piece of cucumber
3 small Kale leaves, torn & de-stemmed
5 fresh mint leaves
3 fresh parsley leaves
1 inch piece fresh ginger, grated
1 cup coconut water
juice of one lime
1-2 tsp healthy oil of choice*
1 tbsp hemp seeds
2-3 drops stevia or a tsp of raw honey
1 cup berries, optional if you want fruit
Blend everything up until smooth, adding more water if needed.
